Association of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry organized
the 1st International Meeting on Medicinal and Pharmaceutical
Chemistry (IMMPC-1) that was held in Ankara on September 25-28,
2002.
his
first meeting focused on experimental and relevant computational
approaches to the drug discovery as well as drug metabolism while
emphasizing on antiviral, anticancer and COX-2 inhibitor drugs.
Please see the scientific program and
the list of posters of the meeting for details.
e
hope that this meeting was a goog opportunity to the scientists
from all over the world to meet in Turkey and share their experiences.
You may see some pics from the meeting in the
picture gallery.
herefore,
on behalf of the Turkish Association of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal
Chemistry, I sincerely thank to all invited speakers and attendees
for being a part of this first exciting meeting.
We
hope to see you in Turkey for the second of this meeting (IMMPC-2)
that will be held in Antalya on October 2004. With our kind
